Is any software required? |
|
No. We’ve intentionally made our entire system web-based for a number of reasons:
> It’s easy for you to manage and access from anywhere in the world
> No software downloads or files which means you don’t have to purchase upgrades or licenses
> Faster implementation because there is no configuration or installation required on your end
> No hidden costs ensuring you a predictable ongoing price structure you can budget for
> No integration with current system or software
> No IT professionals are required to monitor or troubleshoot for you

What are the system requirements for using irun? |
|
> An Email account from any provider chosen by you (once you become an irun customer you’ll have your own professional Email addresses)
> A PC computer running Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
> Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 and up or Netscape Navigator version 6.0 and up
> A modem or other Internet connection capable of speeds of 28.8kbps (low-bandwidth) or greater

Can I use a MAC computer with the IRUN system? |
|
Yes you can, however, there are some restrictions, as outlined here:
> Operating System: OSX 10.0 or greater
> Browser: Safari 1.2 or greater (no Firefox / Mozilla)
As of November 2005, we are working on eliminating any MAC user restrictions so that you can easily use your MAC to build and edit your website.

How do I build an irun website? |
|
Step-by-step. irun has developed an easy-to-use system that walks you through the entire process from start to finish. irun is specifically tailored for non-technical people so all you have to do is follow the easy steps we’ve laid out for you.
More than anything else, we realize that if it’s not easy for you, it’s not useful. So don’t worry about being technical.
Everything is web-based, so as long as you have an Internet connection, you’re in business – no software to buy, upgrade or install.

How long will it take me to build a website? |
|
This is completely up to you. On their own, many of our customers have a fully functional web presence together and online within 5 hours; others have been them over the course of a few weeks or even months. While some of our customers make updates to their web sites on a daily basis, others do so only seasonally. We recommend that you look at your web site as an ongoing project that acts as one of your most aggressive salespeople – 24/7/365.

If I already have a web site and would like to maintain the same design, can I still use irun? |
|
Yes, you can get in contact with irun's sales team and irun’s senior design team will replicate your current design - and even add some upgraded graphics if necessary - and then arrange to have it plugged into our system. In terms of cost, this is usually looked at on an individual basis as the size and scope of web sites may vary. We can be reached for a free estimate.

Do I have to sign a contract with irun? |
|
No. But we do require that you agree to our Member Agreement before signing up. In this way, there is a clear understanding between both parties moving forward.

Can I cancel my irun web site at any time? |
|
Yes. Because you are not signed on to a lengthy contract of any kind, you are never obligated to remain an irun customer.
